Business Resolutions

The end of the year is a great time to look back on your business’s progress and what you have achieved, but also to look ahead. New Year’s resolutions will focus your attention on what you want to achieve in the year ahead, 2021 is going to be a bit different perhaps due to the Covid-19 pandemic, so it's even more importnat to have a plan.

Here are some suggestions:

Promote and publicise your business – create a marketing plan using all methods available to you, including video of course.

Network – join a new local networking group to expand your contacts and resolve to give before you gain.

Planning – schedule in a weekly business planning meeting with set goals and stick to it. You will feel more in control and have something to measure progress with.

Make sure you create a healthy work life balance – feeling recharged and refreshed will have a knock on effect on your business, exercise in the fresh air and drink plenty of water.

Think about some community work – giving back to your community can be incredibly worthwhile and benefit both you and the community. Find a cause that matters to you and build your relationship with them many charities have really suffered during Covid-19 with lack of fund raising opportunites and reduced volunteers - see where you can help.

Learn how to delegate – many people find this incredibly difficult but make this one of your resolutions to help your business run effectively and avoid burning out.

Add to your skillset – learn a new skill that adds value to your home or work life. You may meet new people in the process who may become colleagues or friends as well a partners for new collabroations.

If things aren’t working, be brave enough to leave them behind and move on to something new.

We'd love to hear about your business resolutions for 2021.
