Focus On podcast with Sweet Dreams Sleep Coaching

Emily Guiver of Sweet Dreams Sleep Coaching joins Karen to talk about effective forms of communication within this area of wellness and sleep. 

Emily helps parents and children from birth to teens achieve safe and consistent sleep patterns. Communication, even a non-verbal form is important for Emily to understand any reasons for non-sleepers. She provides a gentle and holistic approach (not forceful) and gets to find out the 'bigger picture' for the child as to why sleep is a concern. 

Post Covid, face to face meetings have become even more popular and new parents, who often feel quite isolated with a new baby, can be reassured they aren't the only ones struggling. 

Emily talks about forms of communication around information gathering, assessing the families she works with and why, realistically, babies won't sleep for 12 hours in a silent environment. Plus we touch on social media.
