Take One TV's MD, Karen Pawlowska, was delighted to be joined by Helen Pethybridge of Chiltern Coaching  for our latest podcast episode. The topic included the gender pay and opportunity gap.  They discussed many different ideas including the value of forward-thinking strategies and support for women in business. We heard how Helen's  focus on quarterly planning sessions for her clients was providing a hands-on method for achieving business objectives. 

Helen and Karen both advocate the value of considering part-time employment opportunities within a business plan.  With so many highly skilled people looking to return to work after a break but not yet able to work full time, their skills can, even with the increased NI and other government regulations that have come in, can still be an innovative solution and accommodate diverse needs.  The belief that we all “make our own luck” supports the importance of personal accountability and initiative in driving success.
